New Site

Welcome to ryanmacmichael.com, a new site I've set up specifically as the home base for my various written-word projects. Right now I've got my first book in the works and I'll be co-editing a compilation this year. I do a fair amount of ongoing writing for various sites I run as well as Herbivore Magazine. The new (online-only) edition of Clamor, 35.5, has a review I wrote.

Next week I'll be on the Vegan Freaks podcast talking about vegetarianism, animal rights, music, and diners.

Ryan MacMichael is a freelance writer whose work ranges from music criticism to web development to animal rights and vegetarianism. He's an editor at Herbivore Magazine and wrote the foreword for Isa Chandra Moskowitz's Vegan With a Vengeance (Marlowe and Company, 2005). MacMichael is working on his first full-length non-fiction book and will be co-editing a compilation in 2006.
